In addition to the company’s reputation for high quality and excellence in service, M&G Seafood Wholesalers have established themselves as a leader in safe food handling. In 1999, the company undertook a Quality Assurance HACCP programme, engaging a professional consultant to provide training to all staff and offer a wealth of knowledge to keep up with todays safe food handling practices which led us to create our operating manual.
After every member completed the training course successfully, the company was officially certified as a quality endorsed company with SGS HACCP Quality Assurance and was issued Licence no. FS636/02. We have since built a very knowledgeable team led by a team leader to successfully demonstrate and comply with Australian Standards. This involves temperature logging of every batch upon receipt and dispatch, document and observe operations daily to ensure the product you receive is safe to consume. Frequent audits are conducted by various third party auditors to ensure we comply. This also includes clients conducting onsite audits on our company to ensure we are compliant and conform to their standards.
M&G Seafood Wholesalers complies with all current food service regulations, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

We have a lot of experience in food hygiene and standards and can supply microbiological analysis on request, conducted to ensure the highest possible quality. We carry out tests for E. coli and listeria conducted by Western Food Laboratories, Sydney – Ph: 02 9764 8222.
