At M&G Seafood Wholesalers, we take our seafood seriously, delivering some of the best in the industry.

Our team of experts have a discerning eye for quality seafood, sourcing your favourites from the cleanest waters and supplying them to businesses across New South Wales.

Since starting out in 1969, we’ve grown from solely supplying oysters to offering an extensive range of products. Over the decades, the company has become agents for many reputable branded products, working collaboratively with our trade partners to assist in the changing needs of our clients. Today, we are one of the leading seafood wholesalers on the eastern seaboard of Australia and considered as a supplier of choice.

Our Head Office and Distribution centre is located at Marrickville in NSW. A newly refurbished warehouse of over 1,700sqm in area, consists of purpose built production areas, freezers, coolrooms, dry stores, offices, staff amenities, loading and unloading facilities. It was designed and built to comply to Australian and International standards. Currently AQIS registered and approved export premises, HACCP and NSWFA certified. We process, pack and deliver fresh and frozen seafood to the highest standards, supplying Sydney's premier eateries.

The company's Wholesale division located at the Sydney Fish Markets has been trading since the early 1970's, supplying other wholesalers, retailers and distributors, offering high quality selections daily of fresh and frozen seafood products. In fact, to cement our prominent involvement, we became shareholders there to better contribute to its direction and upkeep.

Our company is well known within the industry as the largest processor and distributor of oysters in New South Wales, processing approximately 200,000 units of the tasty treats in a single week.

We believe our success is down to simple but highly effective measures using specialised selection techniques to choose only the very best, adopting the highest quality control standards, and examining every batch of seafood that arrives at our premises to guarantee premium quality.

It’s the kind of quality you’d expect from a company that have been in the industry for over 45 years. In fact, our sales and operations team have over 100 years combined experience alone, boasting unmatched knowledge and expertise.

When you order with us, our Quality Assurance personnel conduct a quality check to ensure freshness, safe food handling and compliance whilst we process and pack.

Our Tasmania based processing company supplies the tastiest lobsters to tables across Australia and further afield, providing you with a superior product, every time. In addition, acquisitions of two new oyster farms have being added to the group of companies, ensuring we have total control of quality and supply continuity.
